2021 Scholarship Recipients

Each year, EQUS invites students from our membership to apply for a chance to receive one of four, $1,500 scholarships. These awards are granted based on a combination of academic achievement, personal endeavors, and community and volunteer activities.

We had many strong applicants this year, each of whom submitted a personal essay as well as letters of reference to demonstrate their accomplishments and values. Thank you to the educators on our Scholarship Committee who took the time to carefully review each and every application and chose our four recipients from the many deserving applicants.

Congratulations to our four scholarship recipients, and best wishes to all of the EQUS students beginning a new, successful year of learning!

Samantha Delanoy Vauxhall Enrolled at Briercrest College and Seminary, Bachelor of Arts, Humanities, into Nursing

Jennifer Perrin Gainford Enrolled at Macewan University, Bachelor of Arts, into Bachelor of Social Work

Kiara Porteous Bow Island Enrolled at Olds College, Agricultural Management Diploma

Warren Trapp Edmonton Enrolled at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, Welding
