This year, we’re celebrating 75 years of co-operative electricity in rural Alberta. Since 1947, the Rural Electrification Associations that came together to form EQUS have been powering homes, farms, businesses, and industry in our rural Alberta communities.
Join the EQUS Board of Directors, Leadership, Staff, and other members later this month to celebrate our history and all that we have accomplished together!
Each event will feature a free BBQ lunch and anniversary cake for all guests, as well as kids’ activities including face painting and interactive vehicle and equipment demos. The BBQ at our new Corporate Office in Innisfail will also have live music, and we’ll be offering guests guided tours of the new office and our innovative near-net-zero energy system!
