Please be advised a Canada Post strike is expected to occur on Friday, May 23 at 12:00 a.m. We understand this may cause some challenges for our members, and EQUS is here to support you.

Because of the postal disruption, our team is unable to send any communication by mail. This means you will not receive your most recent electricity bill or other notices through the postal service until the strike ends.

Here’s what you need to know to stay on top of your account:
  • During the postal disruption, EQUS cannot send any communication by mail, including your bill.

  • Payments are still required on the specified due date, and late penalties may apply if payments are not made on time.

  • The best way to get your billing information quickly and avoid delays is to sign up for e-billing atequs.ca/e-billing.

  • Members can also log in and manage their account anytime by visiting EQUS.ca/members and accessing MYEQUS.

  • If you prefer to pay your electricity bill over the phone using a credit card, please call 310.EQUS (3787).

  • Our Member Service Representatives are available Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., either by phone or in person at any of our Area Offices.

We encourage you to use these options to stay connected and avoid any late payment fees.

At EQUS, we are committed to sharing the knowledge you need and providing the quality service you expect throughout this time. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation during the 2025 postal strike.
