The EQUS Board of Directors is proud to announce the selection of Lauren Garvey as Chief Executive Officer. Lauren has served as interim CEO for the past six months, guiding the organization through a pivotal transition with clarity, energy, and strategic focus.

Her leadership during this time has not only earned the confidence and respect of the Board, staff, members, and stakeholders – it has also delivered tangible results that reflect her deep commitment to EQUS’ mission and values. From strengthening operational efficiencies to enhancing member engagement, Lauren has demonstrated an unwavering ability to inspire teams and drive meaningful progress.

“Lauren’s vision for EQUS is bold, people-centered, and rooted in the co-operative spirit that defines us,” said Board Chair, Glen Fox. “We are confident that under her continued leadership, EQUS will continue to grow stronger and accomplish great things.”

Lauren brings a wealth of experience and a collaborative approach that aligns seamlessly with EQUS’ member-owned model. Her tenure as interim CEO has been marked by transparent communication, decisive action, and a clear roadmap for the future – qualities that will continue to guide the organization as she steps into the role permanently.
